The 2009 Fender Custom Classic Stratocaster is a masterpiece created by the highly skilled luthiers at Fender's renowned Custom Shop. The Custom Classic Strat is described as the Fender Custom Shop's version of an American Standard Strat with several upgrades.
The beautiful thin-skinned, nitrocellulose lacquer-finished Transparent Cobalt Blue compliments the incredibly grained, select Ash body. The neck and fretboard are an unusual Birdseye Maple where almost all are flame.
The neck is a "C" shape - ultra comfortable with a 9.5" Radius, medium jumbo frets & a polished satin Urethane neck finish. Fender Custom shop did not stop with beautiful tone woods. The Custom Classic Stratocaster is loaded with Modern Classic single coil pickups including a Hot Classic in the bridge with the Custom Steel Inductance Plate.. These pickups are quite responsive & lively and produce an ear pleasing warm, round Strat tone with very little noise and very well balanced. The Custom Classic Stratocaster also features a standard Master Volume & both Tone controls are No-Load pots for un-colored, pure pickup tone when turned off. Hardware include a new deluxe 2-point synchronized tremolo with polished solid stainless steel saddles and block, Fender/Schaller Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed Tuning Machines & aged white plastic parts. Also includes a Deluxe Black Hardshell Custom Shop Case with Black Interior, Strap, Straplocks, Polishing Cloth and a Certificate of Authenticity.
In my opinion, the Fender Custom Classic Stratocaster is one of the best values from the Fender Custom Shop and this is one of the nicest I've seen & I have had many of these!
