The long anticipated 2010 Ibanez JEM 77FP2 guitar with an array of technical features specified by guitar virtuoso, Steve Vai, is the second offering in the floral series of the Ibanez line and is capable of the most extreme sonic territories.

The JEM 77FP2's basswood body produces a clear, full-bodied resonant tone. The contoured body is complimented by a 24-fret Prestige JEM neck that provides easy access to upper registers. The rosewood fingerboard has a nice bright sound and an attractive appearance complimented by the Vine Inlay with Pearl large leaves and red small leaves. 

The Evolution neck and bridge humbuckers are the result of years of research to achieve the right sound for a very demanding player, Steve Vai. Both pickups are designed for maximum impact and power. The neck pickup has a warm, fat sound. The bridge pickup is slightly louder with a tight, aggressive tone that produces incredible harmonic overtones and will cut through in a dense mix.
