The Xotic EP-Booster is a highly useful sonic tool & earned the "Guitar Player Magazine Editor's Pick" award. The EP Booster is a discrete FET preamp with low impedance output providing up to +20db of unadulterated boost that’s multi-dimensional with shimmering highs and lows!

Based on the preamp stage of an EP-3 Echoplex which has been used by Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Eric Johnson and many others, the EP-Booster makes everything sound fatter, juicier & well, more vibey!

The internal DIP switches let you choose the boost frequencies and EQ settings. The EP-Booster can be powered by 9-volt up to 18-volts for desired headroom. With it's minimal footprint (3.5" x 1.5" x 1.5"), the EP Booster will fit just about anywhere!
